With the help of volunteers from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, AADI provided A1C screenings, Joslin consultations, and bilingual educational materials to the congregation at the Chinese Bible Church of Greater Boston. It was a wonderful community health fair that included Hepataitis B screenings, blood pressure checks, and mental health resources. The student volunteers enjoyed connecting with the community and raising awareness of diabetes through A1C screenings. We all look forward to continuing our work in promoting better community health outcomes and practices.
