
The amount of carbs, proteins, and other nutrients that your father needs depends on many factors, such as age, height, weight, physical activity, medical condition and food preferences. I would suggest that your father to meet with a Registered Dietitian (RD) who is also a Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE), and with knowledge of Chinese food culture.
